Portobello Spanish Festival

¡Hola!

Are you interested in Spanish culture? Do you want to have fun eating and dancing this weekend?

Then you’re lucky! The first ever Portobello Spanish Festival will be taking place this Sunday, 23 September 2018 on the world famous Portobello Road. Join the fiesta and experience an authentic Spanish feria with performances, street food stalls and a Spanish Shopping Village and Market selling fashion, accessories and handmade artisan products from Spain and beyond.

Paella, croquetas, jamón and tortilla are only some of the delicious cuisine classics that will be on offer for this unique celebration of Spanish culture and tradition. Regional wines, beers and cocktails will be there to accompany the tasty tapas – and don’t forget to try the scrumptious churros with chocolate sauce for dessert!

With workshops and activities for the young and the not-so-young, the festival promises to be fun for the whole family. From Spanish music and participatory Flamenco performances to face-painting for children and arts and crafts, this alluring celebration of Spanish food and entertainment will be a great opportunity to explore the best of Spanish culture and put your Spanish language skills into practice. What else could you ask for?

The festival will be set up under Westway along Portobello Road and will take place this Sunday from 10am to 6pm. The weather forecast announces rain this weekend, so grab your umbrella and go enjoy the exciting and vibrant atmosphere of a Spanish celebration brought to the streets of London by the Portobello Spanish Festival!

¡Nos vemos el domingo!
