Over a 14-week period we discuss three masterpieces of literature in Spanish.
At the outset we introduce you to three texts and their authors together with some historical context.
Subsequently we discuss the main topics, characters and symbols in each book over six 90-minute sessions – each two weeks apart, giving you time to read and digest your text.
We support you in expressing your thoughts together with fellow students.
As well as learning to appreciate these works in their native language you will develop your Spanish language skills helping you express your thoughts and opinions and how to debate them with others.
The chosen texts for the next course cover Spain, Colombia and Argentina.
