“¡Hola! My name is Sofía and I’m from Chile.

I am a qualified teacher in Chile and the UK with more than six years teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults, and recently completed my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at London Metropolitan University.

Learning languages has completely changed my life. It gave me the opportunity to study in England, travel across different countries, experience new cultures and build friendships around the world.  My lessons are always tailored to my student’s goals, whether that’s Spanish for travel, or work, or exams – or simply because you love the language.

I strive to create a friendly and encouraging atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable speaking, asking questions and enjoying the learning process. I’m thrilled to be joining the ¡Vamos! team and I hope to help you discover not only the Spanish language, but also the richness of Hispanic cultures.”
