TEMPRANILLO, ONE GRAPE 3 REGIONS – Date TBA

1 Sparkling wine + 3 different tempranillo red wines (Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva)

Often referred to as Spain’s noble grape, Tempranillo is a native Spanish grape.

Discover the great versatility of the Tempranillo grape by tasting 3 red wines, from lesser-known regions of Spain and which have undergone different aging processes (Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva).

From young fruity wines to full-bodied reds, the Tempranillo grape has been widely used and is internationally known as the main grape in Rioja. Small bites accompany each glass. Challenge yourself in a funny porron pouring challenge and enjoy a nibble and your preferred wine at the end of the tasting.

NORTH OF SPAIN WINES VS. SOUTH OF SPAIN WINES – Date TBA

1 Sparkling wine + 1 red wine and 1 white wine from North of Spain + 1 red wine and 1 white wine from South of Spain.

Understand what influences the contrasts between the wines of Northern Spain and Southern Spain.

From the vineyards in the North with their green, rolling hills to the arid expanses of the South and all the differences in between – weather, the richness of the soil and the water are what makes Spanish wines so special and unique.

The influence of the Cantabric Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea play an important role in the ripening of the grape, and the breezes blowing from them contribute to the differences between Spanish wines.

The tasting includes 1 glass of cava, 2 wines from Northern Spain ( Basque country, Rioja) and 2 wines from South of Spain (Sierra de Malaga, Alicante), all paired with Ibérica’s pintxos. Challenge yourself in a funny porron pouring challenge and enjoy a nibble and your preferred wine at the end of the tasting.
