¡Hola a todos!
I’m Nereida from Barcelona, but while I have lived in this lovely city for 16 years, I was born in Ecuador, South America.
I studied a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, majoring in English and Spanish at the University of Barcelona and I hold a Master of Arts in Discourse Studies: Communication, Society & Learning from Pompeu Fabra University. I also have a Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House, where I learned the principles of the communicative approach.
I love teaching Spanish as much as I love learning languages. I think being able to speak a second language is important because it gives us the ability to communicate and understand other cultures and perspectives.
I have taught language and culture to both adults and children and always make my lessons enjoyable, whilst challenging my students to develop to the best of their abilities.
I want to share with you my passion for intercultural communication! Ludwig Wittgenstein said “The limits of my language mean the limits of my world” so come to my lessons to expand your limits!
¡Nos vemos pronto!
