"¡Hola gente! I am Diana from Argentina!
I have a Bachelors’ degree in English Teaching and a Masters in Linguistics. I have taught English in many language schools, but teaching my native language is a special experience for me.
I love creating language learning materials and researching new teaching methods, especially on technology and news ways of making language learning an even more enjoyable experience.
I like my classes to be fun and provide friendly atmosphere where everybody can reach their full potential and know that learning a language is much more than learning grammar and endless lists of vocabulary.
Learning a language allows you to connect with people, welcome differences and look at the world through a different set of eyes!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part two of the C2 Proficiency syllabus
It’s a 20-hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

The teaching was very good. It was nice to learn Spanish in a class as it provided a different way of learning compared with a book or online. Andrea was a very good teacher; she was very helpful and made the class fun to attend.
No complaints at all!
Vamos has started doing courses online over “zoom”, which is a really easy-to-use video calling platform similar to Skype. Our Level 1 class is small and led by an excellent teacher (Amaya Alonso), who makes the sessions fun and engaging, and builds them to our level. It feels like we get a lot of individual attention. Having only started from scratch a few weeks ago, I already feel like I’m building a good grounding in Spanish. Taking the courses online has made them very accessible, especially during the lockdown period this spring. While the UK is on lockdown, I’m really happy that I’m able to engage in weekly classes and keep up Spanish learning from home.
I’d highly recommend the school.
Very good, very intense, challenging. Good fun, excellent teaching, very well thought out and good use of all the teaching aids. Excellent.
Vamos, Carolina and Russell continue to be excellent. I’m looking forward to Level 9.
I feel very proud of what I have achieved. I did not have much confidence to begin with and now I have enough to say \hablo un poco de Espanol\”! Very good teaching
After doing level 1, level 2 was great fun. The course progresses well, the class has fun and Cristina manages to make me enjoy it even after a long day at work.
The course has been fantastic! I have been learning Spanish with Vamos since last year and I am amazed at how much I have learnt. This is mainly due to the excellent quality of the teaching. Sonia is an inspiring and highly skilled teacher who makes the lessons fun and engaging. She also provides a very structured framework of grammar and language skills which we build on each session. She shares her knowledge of Spanish culture and makes lessons really enjoyable and great fun. I am really inspired to keep learning.
I enjoyed the level 1 course. It introduced me to the basics of Spanish. I was looking for travel. It’s an informal, fun and social way of learning. Excellent!
