"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Carolina is a very good teacher – she challenges us and pushes us to fulfill our potential. I am very happy with this course!
Andrea is a good teacher and helps break down any possible difficulties. Her teaching methods are innovative and engage the class at all times. The fact that she teaches in Spanish with very little English in class means we are encouraged to learn at a high level.
Very enjoyable. Good fun!
– Great teacher
– Nice and Interactive
– Practical, to enhance learning
– Enjoyed the course
– Thank you 🙂
I really liked this Level 3 with Coral. She is really a great teacher, very thoughtful, driven and very good in explaining. Also she manages to explain everything in Spanish so we understand – not easy at this level of beginners 🙂 Also she really puts a lot of effort in the after class posts on the website which is great and very helpful.
Andrea was excellent. She was prepared, punctual and dedicated. She constantly brought interesting topics to class and she challenged us. If you wanted extra work she produced it willingly. Excellent teacher!! Outstanding!
Estupendo! Pasarlo muy bien!
Carmen is an amazing teacher. She manages to make the class fun but also helps us to learn. Due to the activities we do in class, I managed to memorize a lot of vocabulary & grammar. Really happy and pleased to have her as my teacher. She really cares about the students
The program as a whole was fantastic! The activities were great and so much fun. Ruth as a teacher is awesome.
