"¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!
I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.
My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.
I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

This course forms part two of 3 courses for B2 plus students. It’s a 20-hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities involving:
Learn about international trade and the vocabulary relating to import and export. This module also looks at Latin American economies as well as statistic and analytical reporting.
Learn the vocabulary and grammar used to create a business with examples such as service and product based companies.
Learn the vocabulary and expressions to talk about finance, salaries and currencies.
The course is well organised and well taught. Carolina is an excellent teacher and the sessions are fun. The blog is a useful addition to the school.
I enjoyed my time at ¡Vamos! I have npw learnt the basics of Spanish. I intend to continue onto Level 2 in a couple of months time. Adela is a very good teacher! Gracias 🙂
Ruth is an excellent teacher and has a lot of patience which is definitely needed at times. The course book, handouts and homework are beneficial to the learning process and are of a high standard.
I really enjoyed Cristina’s classes. She is fun, interacts with everybody and pays attention to details.
I feel I have learnt a lot in this first course. Andi is a great teacher, very engaging and fun. We learnt a lot trough conversation and fun exercises. Looking forward to Level 2 with Andi.
Fran is a star. She´s so fun and nice and never makes you feel stupid. Issues with rooms could be sorted out, but overall still happy with Vamos in general.
I enjoyed the classes a lot! They were as good and interesting as the ones in Level 1! Noelia is a great teacher; I’ll go with her to Level 3! Muchas gracias!
Good, engaging course. Ines has organised the course so that it is interesting and funny, even when it came down to the ‘boring’ grammar learning.
Cristina is a wonderful teacher. She brought the lessons to life and made them fun. I’ve gained a better understanding of the basic rules in Spanish, including grammar.
