"¡Hola! My name is Elena and I come from Seville, the capital of Andalusia, in the south of Spain.
I am a qualified teacher with a Certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House and I also have a degree in Dramatic Arts and studies in English Literature and Linguistics.
I love studying languages and learning new aspects of different cultures, and I hope I can help you in getting to know those of Spain. I always try to create a comfortable and creative atmosphere in class, where everyone feels confident and is eager to participate."

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 5 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
This was a really worthwhile trip and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to brush up on their Spanish or consolidate their knowledge.
The activities were very fun and interactive. A great way to speak Spanish and learn vocabulary. Overall a great week with a great bunch of people. The restaurant options were good.
Paula is a vibrant and gifted teacher who taught us a lot about Spanish culture and art with great enthusiasm. The group gelled very well and I enjoyed the classes very much. It was all made even better by taking place in such a lovely town.
