"Hola! I`m Alejandro from Huesca, a small town in Aragón, in the north east of Spain.
I studied English language and literature at University of Zaragoza and a Master's degree in teaching foreign languages at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. I also have a certificate in teaching Spanish to adults from Instituto Cervantes.
Teaching languages is my passion. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of Spanish language and culture to my students. My lessons are based on communicative and gamification methodologies where students can learn having fun.
I hope to see you soon at Vamos!

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Very impressed by the teaching methods, activities, conversations in the class. Love the week emails and screenshots of what we have learnt.
Very interactive but getting much more challenging, meaning it is necessary to keep on top of work and prepare for lessons! Very good set of teachers so even cover lessons are of a high standard!
Throughout the 10 weeks of the course I learnt a lot. Looking forward to the next course!!
Really well formatted and organised. Great fun and range of learning techniques. Made it a really great way to learn Spanish. Teaching was excellent and enthusiastic and engaging.
– Very good and enjoyable class
– Teaching methods are easy to follow
– Elena made the whole class feel very comfortable and has an excellent teaching approach
– Good communication with Russell which helps for bookings etc
Excellent. I wish I could continue but moving out of London makes that impossible. If circumstances change I will be back for Level 3! Maria is an excellent profesora. Her classes are always fun, but we end up learning also. Gracias!
I have enjoyed it. The different activities keep the lessons interesting and interactive. The listening exercises help to familiarise us with pronunciations. Carmen is patient and cheerful and keeps the class cheerful. The tapas evenings are a nice way to meet other students from different levels.
As usual, Andrea has been brilliant at explaining everything especially in this difficult (for me) level. I look forward to level 12!
I really enjoyed learning Spanish and learnt a lot from Paloma. I loved her laid-back style and teaching and will definitely carry on to the next level.
