"іHola! I am Carla from Madrid.
I have a Degree in Spanish awarded by the Complutense University of Madrid, Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and a QTS in the UK. I am also qualified as a DELE B1/B2 examiner at the “Instituto Cervantes”.
For me, learning a language means much more than just being able to speak the language. It means travelling, working and meeting amazing people. Essentially it means broadening our knowledge and discovering the world. I am eager to share with you my love for learning a foreign language.
I have been teaching Spanish for the past three years in Spain, USA and now in England. Teaching is an amazing and rewarding experience and Vamos is a perfect place to do so!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 5 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
It’s very good! For level 1 I’ve had 3 teachers in total: Amaya, Noelia and Andrea. They are all very nice and their methods of teaching are unique in their own way. The classes are very helpful. I’m very happy here. I’ll go to level 2 for sure.
Adela is a wonderful teacher – very patient and able to explain things really clearly. The course is great – my one difficulty was in the course materials as I would have found it easier if we went through a textbook chapter by chapter (esp when we miss a class) rather than use handouts which I tend to lose. But this is my personal learning style and on the whole everything was good. Thanks!
Classes are really engaging and I always look forward to attending. All the work is manageable but challenging with a nice class atmosphere.
I love Andrea’s classes. They are fun and educational at the same time. I feel that I’ve learnt a lot and I always look forward to the next class.
This level was great, there were lots more opportunities for speaking which was great!
It’s a wonderful course.
Fantastic student services! Great lessons and exciting teachers to work with.
It’s a great way to learn Spanish. The course is fun and Carolina is a great and very patient teacher. I will definitely be signing up to Level 4. Mucho gracias!
The program was a good mixture of practical and theory. Amaya made the lessons fun using music, videos and games to mix the learning methods up. Amaya is like a positive ball of energy in our classes, which is just what you need to keep the learning enjoyable.
