"Hola! I am Elvira Tallo from Vejer, a beautiful Andalucian town in the south west coast of Cádiz where Atlantic meets Mediterranean sea.
I studied Audiovisual Communications in Málaga and Warsaw and it was during my time in Poland when I discovered my passion for teaching and being part of a Spanish literature and language club.
After my experience, I moved to London and decided to prepare myself for becoming a teacher, so I studied a Graduate Certificate of Spanish language at Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University.
I find it really interesting being able to communicate in other languages and discovering new cultures and ways of thinking through them. That is one of the main reason I love being a Spanish teacher. It is really rewarding and fun to give the tools that students need to instill themselves with passion for Spanish and Latin American cultures and language and helping them in their adventure of learning a new language in a fun and dynamic way.
I love culture, travelling, music, gigs, gardening and cooking, all mixed with a big passion of learning and sharing ideas.
¡Nos vemos en clase!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
This was a really worthwhile trip and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to brush up on their Spanish or consolidate their knowledge.
The activities were very fun and interactive. A great way to speak Spanish and learn vocabulary. Overall a great week with a great bunch of people. The restaurant options were good.
Paula is a vibrant and gifted teacher who taught us a lot about Spanish culture and art with great enthusiasm. The group gelled very well and I enjoyed the classes very much. It was all made even better by taking place in such a lovely town.
