"іHola! I am María and I am from Albacete, a small town in Castilla – La Mancha.
But I have also lived and studied in Valencia and also Leeds in England where I did my Erasmus studies for one year. Now I am living in London and I came here year and a half ago.
I have a degree in Translation and Linguistic Mediation from the University of Valencia and a Masters in Secondary Education. After I graduated I did a Postgraduate Course in Didactics and Methodology of Spanish as a Foreign Language with the collaboration of the Institute Cervantes.
I love teaching and I try to make my classes creative, dynamic and fun and at the same time ensuring my students are learning!
I look forward to meeting you at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Andrea is a really enthusiastic teacher, very patient and encouraging. It is fine to make a mistake. It is useful to go through the homework together so you can see where you have gone wrong. The people in my class are really great which makes learning fun. Overall it is a great course.
I really enjoyed the course. Enric always explained things clearly and thoroughly and was always smiley and energetic. That’s exactly what one needs after a hard day’s work. Fully recommend the course and the brilliant teacher. Way to go!
Cristina is a wonderful teacher. She brought the lessons to life and made them fun. I’ve gained a better understanding of the basic rules in Spanish, including grammar.
