"¡Hola! My name is Elena and I come from Seville, the capital of Andalusia, in the south of Spain.
I am a qualified teacher with a Certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House and I also have a degree in Dramatic Arts and studies in English Literature and Linguistics.
I love studying languages and learning new aspects of different cultures, and I hope I can help you in getting to know those of Spain. I always try to create a comfortable and creative atmosphere in class, where everyone feels confident and is eager to participate."

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Ines teaching style was ‘muy bien’, she made students feel confident to give it a go. Thanks!
Thoroughly enjoyed not only my lessons with Elena, but also the two profesoras in the catch up lessons. The teachers were very engaging, fun and patient. The pace of the course was about right for my level and ability to do the work.
I loved the course. I’ve only intended to try Spanish out, and ended up keep going to Level 4. I really enjoy the combination of teaching methods and the types of activities covered in the class from games and quizzes to grammar exercises. I love the course.
I have learnt Spanish with Vamos for three years now and have just finished level 14 (B2). I have had many different teachers all of which were absolutely fantastic in ensuring that classes are interactive, fun and different every week. Everyone is very professional, friendly and very keen on ensuring each student enjoys the classes and is progressing from level to level.
The school is great at organising additional activities to help learn the language: free conversation classes, a Spanish blog with interesting articles and interactive comic strips, trips to Spain, Spanish cinema night, tapas nights, Spanish Christmas party, etc. All this greatly adds to the overall experience.
I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking for Spanish classes in London and I’m definitely continuing with my studies there.
Noelia’s enthusiasm and friendly demeanour and overall encouraging and helpful attitude continued to make this level of the program an absolute pleasure and a lot of fun. The only guilty party in why I may not have gotten the most out of level 3 is myself. Unfortunately I was not able to spend enough time on my own to review + solidify the material – I have only myself to blame for not getting the full value of the program in Level 3! I definitely will return to Noelia in the New Year!
Style of teaching is really enjoyable and the mixture of listening, conversations and games has really helped me to learn. The addition of the free conversation class and tapas is a nice added touch.
Finally the flexibility of classes if you cannot make one is really good.
Interesting classes with Clara. Very good explanations. Could do more listening activities. I would like to continue 🙂
Really good introduction for beginners, gives a good grounding in the language. Fun class with a strong focus on working with others.
I have absolutely loved the course and I am looking forward to progressing further. Carol has been a great teacher and the school as a whole has a great atmosphere.
