"Hola a todos
My name is Elisabet and I am from Almería, in the sunny southeast coast of Spain.
I have a degree in Spanish Language and Literature at University of Almería and a MA in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at University of Granada.
I have a passion for teaching and I love learning about different cultures. That's why I have lived in Germany, Netherlands and Romania, whilst teaching Spanish to adults, children and teenagers. My main goal is to make students feel comfortable in their learning process and to adapt to each student’s needs.
I look forward to sharing the Spanish culture with you and showing you how wonderful and easy it is to learn Spanish!
See you soon! ¡Hasta pronto!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Amaya is a great teacher – keeping the classes exciting and engaging every week is a good achievement.
The course was excellent and Paula is a fantastic teacher. I especially enjoy the Friday night extra activities as well. The materials are excellent and always well presented and I can’t wait to start Level 5.
Enjoyed the classes and the teaching. There was a good, positive attitude. I’m just sorry I couldn’t put more time into the study!
Very well organised and the teaching has clear objectives for each class. Really enjoyable.
Great teaching and at a good pace with recapping etc. We covered lots of vocab in a small amount of time and a good balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
This level was great, there were lots more opportunities for speaking which was great!
¡Me gusta la clase de español! Ruth es una profesora muy buena. ¡I love every single minute of it!
Very impressive. Lessons were structured in a way that introduced new vocabulary and grammar, while keeping you engaged. Emphasis was made on communicating with others, which is the reason I signed up for the course in the first place. Finally, Ruth was always very helpful and understanding. She is a very good educator. Thanks! Will definitely come back.
Very good! A great way to learn. I liked the fact that the teacher mostly spoke in Spanish even when discussing things, I didn’t know. Made me think harder and was very helpful. Great teacher, very clear and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed this class. Thank you!
