"¡Buenas, gente! I am Elena and I am from Córdoba in the south of Spain!
I love to teach and I love to study too. My qualifications include a B.A. in English Studies and an M.A. in Spanish. I also have a Certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House, Barcelona and I am a qualified DELE Examiner for C1/C2 levels. And in addition to that I have nearly completed my Masters in Spanish and Latin American Cultural Studies at Birkbeck University in London.
I have been teaching Spanish since 2008 and I couldn't be happier. It is very rewarding to teach my native language, but especially to make my students discover the Hispanic worldview."

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
More about this course
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
