"¡Hola! I am Natalia from Murcia, a small region in the sunny south of Spain.
I studied a BA in Translation and Interpreting and an MA in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Alicante. I am also qualified as a DELE examiner for levels C1-C2 by the Instituto Cervantes.
My love for travelling, communicating with others and learning languages led me to become a passionate Spanish teacher and I have been teaching Spanish for 9 years in Germany, Hungary and the UK.
In my lessons I use the communicative approach to teach my students how to communicate in real life situations and try to make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible.
As Nelson Mandela said: "If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart."
I hope to see you soon at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Great teachers – enthusiastic, helpful and fun. Lessons set at a good pace and well organised.
Improvements – more practice speaking and forming whole sentences.
Very useful course, covered relevant material. Good lessons with lots of practise, lots of areas covered. Maria is a great teacher! Maria is very friendly and good at explaining
Sandra is a great teacher and I would like to continue to Level 2 in her class. Also, thank you for the catch up lessons arranged.
The course is well structured, with a variety of activities to make classes fun and enjoyable. Andi is an excellent teacher, and has certainly inspired me to continue.
Fun and interactive way to learn. Liked the extra homework we did via posting on the website, as gave you more practice if you had time and seeing others post motivated me.
I liked the course very much and I will definitely continue learning Spanish here. At this level I expected a bit more grammar, i.e. past + future tenses. However, the vocabulary we learnt is very useful too.
A well-structured and enjoyable programme, delivered by an enthusiastic and capable teacher.
Overall, I’m very impressed with quality of the teaching. Lessons were varied and fun. I appreciated learning the grammar as well.
I have absolutely loved the course and I am looking forward to progressing further. Carol has been a great teacher and the school as a whole has a great atmosphere.
