"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
The course seemed very well constructed and the teachers were quick to adjust the content and difficulty in response to the classes needs. Lots of interaction amongst the class helped improve my Spanish speaking and this was encouraged.
I liked it. Nice mixture of grammar and conversation. Much new vocabulary!
I have really enjoyed the weekend in Asturias. It was fantastic to be part of a group on a learning based holiday. I learnt a lot and was able to practise my Spanish which was great. I really liked that there were fun activities arranged too, not just the Spanish classes. It was a great mix of both.
The program helped me to understand how to use gender verbs. I really enjoyed the course with Natalia as she is very helpful for me to learn the language.
Very well done. Friendly. Very good teacher. Very good vibe/atmosphere. Good exercises. I would recommend it. Overall I think it’s a great course.
A very enjoyable program, taught to a very high standard by an excellent teacher.
It was very useful and teacher Andi is great! And the school is very informative that I could choose different activities like Tapas, conversation class and so on.
Catch up class is also good.
I’ve learned a lot!
Even though I had missed a handful of lessons, the teaching was brilliant and so were the methods of teaching. The posts online were also useful. The programme as a whole has been a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to continue carrying on 🙂 Gracias!
I really enjoyed this Level 2 course. Enric created a positive and enriching environment for us to study in. I’m looking forward to Level 3!!
