"¡Hola! My name is Romina and I'm from La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province in Argentina.
I am a qualified teacher with a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University. I also have a degree in Psychology and have worked in the field of education for many years.
I think the best way to learn a language is through communicating and interacting from the start. I love making my lessons enjoyable and creative, using different activities and resources, while sharing aspects of my culture in the process. I find seeing the progress of my students very rewarding as they become more confident using the language in practical situations.
I am looking forward to meeting you at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Great: fun and interactive. Never a dull moment.
Very well organised and teaching methods are excellent; lots of variety in terms of activities. All aspects – listening, speaking, reading and writing were tested. Useful to go over the previous week´s lesson at the beginning of the next class. Has given me confidence for my holiday in Spain!
The program is interactive, dynamic and fun. Andi is an excellent teacher and clearly very experienced as she always manages the needs of the group and of individuals throughout the lesson very well. See you in level 5!
Well-varied ideas and activities and good balance of speaking/reading/writing/listening. Homework volume was doable. Look forward to lessons. Diana is a great teacher. Nice to use couple of books.
I have enjoyed learning Spanish with Vamos so far. Both Noelia and Ruth have been very good teachers and it was good that we were able to continue with Ruth as our teacher whilst Noelia is on holiday.
I think the course helped to improve my language skills a lot. This time we focused a lot on ‘subjuntivo’ which helped. I like having role plays or conversations to learn the language and would always appreciate having more conversational exercises.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Maria is brilliant, so glad I am continuing on.
The course covered many topics which were nicely related and taught in a well presented manner. It was very intensive and required a lot more study away from the class to become proficient.
Muy bien! Looking forward to level 3.
