"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I have enjoyed the programme, it progresses at a good pace and Diana is a fun, knowledgeable teacher who comes up with good activities/games to teach the content.
Amazing experience. The teaching was spectacular and fun. The course was very thorough and you are constantly learning each lesson. Gracias Fiamma!
I think it was essential to have 2 classes a week, as you can feel the progress. Great programme so far!
I want to say how much I enjoyed the level 2 course and what an amazing teacher Fran is – every part of her lessons was relevant and useful and she explained everything so well, always making sure to involve all class members and to make learning fun and entertaining with games! You really couldn’t fault her teaching methods – what an absolute star!
Another great course.
The class is good and very compelling. Andrea taught some very difficult subjects very well. For example, subjunctive and past tenses.
It has been really fun and I’ve learnt a lot. I was not sure what to expect, but it has been brilliant and I feel like I am learning Spanish at a good pace! 🙂 The lessons are fun and sociable and I look forward to each week.
Andrea was excellent and very approachable.
My only small point was I found the second half less fast pace in terms of new materials and less challenging as a result.
That being said I have learnt a lot from the course.
Excellent teacher, the class is fun and I have learnt a lot. I look forward to level 3!
