Your Teacher

"¡Hola! I am Patricia from Madrid, in the center of Spain!

I have a Degree in Teaching Foreign Languages and a Postgraduate Degree in teaching Spanish for adults.

I have been teaching Spanish in London for five years using the communicative approach, which balances the four skills and gives students the opportunity to interact which each other in the classroom.

My lessons include a variety of materials and include cultural content, but the most important thing for me is they are fun too!

I forward to seeing you in my classroom soon and hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

About Us

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.

More about this course

This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.

We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
