"¡Hola! My name is Mariluz. I am originally from Toledo, although I studied and lived most of my life in Madrid.
I have a degree in Modern Languages and a PGCE in Teaching from Universidad Complutense (Madrid). I have also trained and certified at Instituto Cervantes, London
I have been working as a teacher and translator for over 15 years and I can speak English, Italian and French fluently. I think that learning to communicate in a new language is one of the most challenging yet rewarding skills to achieve, so I can fully understand how a learner feels: I have been in your shoes myself!
I love to present engaging lessons with a good balance of Spanish culture and language and most of all, interacting with students in order to add to learners potential for success. Come onboard!!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Vamos is fantastic! The classes are interactive and varied in content so each week it’s really easy to build on your exisiting knowledge…
This was the most incredible weekend with memories which will last a lifetime! All in all a 5/5 rating is a real understatement and a testament to the way in which teaching Spanish should be done!
Vamos do everything they can to support adult learners, appreciating the fact that our busy lives may mean we miss occasional classes so they provide ‘catch up’ opportunities…
