"¡Hola! My name is also Alba and I come from Valencia!
I hold a degree in Spanish Studies (Universitat de València) and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language at Universitat de Barcelona. I have been teaching Spanish in an immersion context in Valencia for one and half years and I previously taught Spanish in Tallinn (Estonia) as a part of an internship.
I am an enthusiastic and inspiring language teacher who loves sharing her passion about the Spanish language and our culture. Teaching languages is a beautiful job because it works towards building bridges between people and cultures.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my students getting to know each other through Spanish and gaining the confidence to communicate in the language and learn about Spanish and Latin American culture.

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I loved it! It got me even more excited about learning Spanish. See you at Level 2!
I enjoy the Spanish course very much – this is not just because how it is designed but also because of the skills and kind/cheerful personality of our teacher. As a group of students I think we should practice more at home because the learning has to be active.
The programme gave me a really good grounding in terms of vocabulary and grammar. Ruth is a great teacher who clearly puts a lot of time and effort into preparing and executing her lessons. Her classes and activities were fun and engaging, and importantly, really helped what we had learned to sink in.
I really loved the class, Amaya is a fantastic teacher!!! I love her teaching method, very organised. I am going on holiday to Japan for 5 weeks so I can’t carry on the course, but I’d like to continue the course after I get back!!!
I’m very pleased with the course and I’m definitely going to continue. It’s fun and very useful
Once again, a very well constructed and fun course. Amaya is a wonderful teacher! Highly recommend Vamos 🙂
Vamos program is a really fun way to learn Spanish. Level 1 covered a lot of topics which felt quite fast but it is amazing how much you have learnt at the end of the course. The interactive parts of the course are really useful. Romina was brilliant- Thank you!
Learning Spanish with Nereida has been a fantastic experience. I’ve been studying Spanish through Vamos for a couple of years and I’m now approaching B2 level – at every stage, classes have been engaging and fun, and my confidence in speaking and understanding the language has improved enormously.
The course has been very good and we have covered a lot in 10 weeks. The pace of the course is good and and enough time is spent on each topic. I like the integration of all topics by the end – eg. not just learning a subject, then moving on and forgetting it. Andrea is a great teacher!
