"¡Hola! My name is Romina and I'm from La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province in Argentina.
I am a qualified teacher with a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University. I also have a degree in Psychology and have worked in the field of education for many years.
I think the best way to learn a language is through communicating and interacting from the start. I love making my lessons enjoyable and creative, using different activities and resources, while sharing aspects of my culture in the process. I find seeing the progress of my students very rewarding as they become more confident using the language in practical situations.
I am looking forward to meeting you at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Enric was fun, helpful, knowledgeable and multilingual teacher.
I really enjoyed the programme! I have learnt lots and I am excited to practise my Spanish during my travels. Paloma is a great teacher! Thank you!
I believe that my fluency and confidence have both increased over the past 10 weeks. The work was challenging but helpful. Plus Paula was an excellent teacher.
Very enjoyable. After a long day at work I really like how the lessons are fun whilst challenging. I’m already seeing major improvements and I can’t wait to start level 3.
Great teacher, great class, friendly people, on the whole very good, but more could have been done in the 5 weeks. I would have liked to have gone a bit further. I would recommend the course to others.
The program was great. Our teacher was very good at her job. We learnt so much in such a short time. It was good that we did a lot of conversation practice with class mates rather than just individual work, I think that helped a lot.
Even though I cannot study too much outside class hours, I am amazed how much I learned only with this program. I really enjoy it!
The course is good and will continue to attend until fluent 🙂
I´d like the class to speak more Spanish including Andi – I think she could be harder on us and a recap of the previous class at the beginning of each, which I think will help bring everything together. I enjoy coming to the classes!
I found the program really fun and interactive; it was a mixture of listening, reading, writing and grammar. The teacher was very clear and explained everything. I am very pleased with my overall experience and will definitely continue.
