"¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!
I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.
My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.
I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

This is the first course in our A2 Elementary levels 4-6. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1, 2 and 3. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I thought the course was really well run, and it was obvious from the start that it was a well thought structure of support for students (e.g. missing classes, conversation classes, etc.) that go beyond the bare minimum. Sandra is very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. I have recommended to several friends already.
Great work from Clara! A professional teacher with great desire to teach 🙂
Very impressed, good level and quality of teacher and student interaction. Couldn’t be a better planned lesson/course. Great teacher!
The program is great, we have the same group from level 1 and we really enjoy it. The structure is just right and Andrea understands our level.
Really good teaching – Paula was great, really helpful, keen to teach and happy to answer all questions. Very fun class, good atmosphere.
Really interactive, lots of speaking and not too much English which is great. Very good, clear explanations of grammar and lots of fun!
Very fun, well-paced and even when I miss a lesson, I feel there is help at hand + resources online I can make use of 🙂 See you at level 3! 🙂
Very good, well planned and not as I expected it may be. Carol taught the class very well and kept everything fresh and lively
I definitely improved my Spanish. Andrea kept us all involved and interested in the course. I enjoyed participating to the extra-curricular activities (cinema).
