"Hola, chicos! ¿Cómo estáis? I am Ana from Los Molinos, a town near Madrid!
I have a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in teaching and I obtained them both at the Complutense University in Madrid.
I am also an official DELE examiner for B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels, but it is important for you to know that teaching Spanish is not only my work but my passion as well."

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I really enjoyed the course Paula is an excellent teacher who made the classes interesting and fun. It can be quite hard to be enthusiastic about evening classes after a long day of the work but this was not an issue with Paula’s class. I have now signed up for the next course.
Andrea is a good teacher and helps break down any possible difficulties. Her teaching methods are innovative and engage the class at all times. The fact that she teaches in Spanish with very little English in class means we are encouraged to learn at a high level.
Excellent introduction to learning Spanish. The exercises and activities built nicely from week to week and the energy and enthusiasm from Paula was inspiring – in such a short time I have learnt a lot. I’ll definitely be continuing to level 2! Thank you Paula 🙂
The course was with a wide range of teaching methods and fun activities. It was good that the class got to work together to help each other. The teacher was flexible with different learning activities. I would recommend the course to people.
Andrea is such a helpful, friendly and engaging teacher. The two hours fly by and so has the course! I’ve just signed up to the next course because I feel I’ve learnt a lot in level 3 and look forward to learning more. Thank you!
Sandra is my favourite teacher so far. Her passion for teaching made this level so far the most enjoyable and I feel like I made the biggest step so far to learn Spanish!
Fantastic. Enric is an amazing teacher and I really enjoy coming to his classes every week.
Monica was fantastic! The course went at a good pace and I am very happy with my progress. The classes have also been enjoyable. Conversation classes are a plus and I fully intend to utilise the new weekly option. Gracias Monica. Hasta pronto!
