"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
This school has a very friendly environment. I was able to change the class based on my needs and job requirements. There is possibility to interact over the homepage, I didn’t use it due to lack of time, but I will do next time. Overall I feel very well here.
Maria has been a fantastic teacher, always energetic and positive. The pace of the course is good. Very happy with Maria and the course overall and I will be coming back for level 2.
Level 2 gave me a lot of new knowledge; it was quite intense and covered quite a few important topics. With teacher’s assistance and with clear points, all could be put into a systematic construction as a good base for building up more knowledge and talking skills. Love the grammar part most of all. Gacias!
Really enjoyable, all teachers are very friendly and want you to do your best.
My overall experience has been great with ‘VAMOS’. The classes are fun and designed in a way which makes learning a new language quite easy. My classmates were amazing and the teacher was great too. I appreciate other small initiatives as well such as speaking classes, catch up class, tapas nights. It made quite a difference. I would definitely continue further ahead.
I can only blame myself for not getting the most out of it. I didn’t study enough and got behind. My teacher is fantastic. I want to study with the two books over the break but I don’t understand the questions. I am coming back to learn more and try harder.
This level was more challenging than the other levels, which was great to test your development. Ruth was a great teacher who spent time going over concepts we struggled with. I’ve learned a lot and had fabulous time learning with an excellent group of people.
I have been studying at Vamos for 1.5 years now and it is the favourite part of my week. Our teacher is enthusiastic, patient and is able to explain things comprehensibly. Since my first class I have never felt embarrassed to ask questions and have gained a thorough understanding of the aspects of the language that we have covered so far. Thanks as always for your continued flexibility and support in my studies.
It was fun learning with Noelia. She was quite resourceful, friendly and attentive.
