"¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? My name is Belén and I am from Madrid, the (other) city that never sleeps.
After obtaining my BA in Translation and Interpreting at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio I trained as a teacher of Spanish as a second language at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I moved to the UK in 2013 and qualified as a teacher at Kingston University in 2015. Since then I have worked at a number of secondary schools teaching Modern Foreign Languages and in December 2017 I decided I also wanted to teach adults.
I like my lessons to be dynamic and fun and I encourage my students to ask questions, reflect upon their progress and take pride in their achievements. Every little step counts!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Vamos is fantastic! The classes are interactive and varied in content so each week it’s really easy to build on your exisiting knowledge…
This was the most incredible weekend with memories which will last a lifetime! All in all a 5/5 rating is a real understatement and a testament to the way in which teaching Spanish should be done!”
Vamos do everything they can to support adult learners, appreciating the fact that our busy lives may mean we miss occasional classes so they provide ‘catch up’ opportunities…
