"¡Hola chicos! I am Paula, and I come from the wonderful city of Madrid!
I hold a BA (Hons) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a postgraduate in teaching Spanish as a foreign language certified by Roehampton University and Instituto Cervantes. I completed my MA in September 2016 at Kings College London and I am also a PhD candidate at the Open University.
Since completing my degree, I have sought to keep increasing my knowledge of linguistics and communication. I fully appreciate the importance of learning a language and the value it brings to both job and leisure opportunities. For this reason I love teaching at Vamos and developing dynamic and communicative activities where everyone feels welcome and confident. I am also a firm supporter of introducing debate and different contents in the class, so that students can improve their language skills while discussing interesting and current topics.
I love working at Vamos because staff and students have both created a big family. Why don’t you come and join! See you soon at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2. It’s a 20 hour course over 5 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Great opportunity to learn and practice Spanish, to learn about Spain and above all to enjoy the company of other students learning Spanish. Well worthwhile and brilliantly put together. Language, culture and fun all in one package.
This was a really worthwhile trip and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to brush up on their Spanish or consolidate their knowledge.
The activities were very fun and interactive. A great way to speak Spanish and learn vocabulary. Overall a great week with a great bunch of people. The restaurant options were good.
