"Hola! My name is Maria and I am from Jaen, which is one of the capital cites in Andalusia (close to Granada) in the south of Spain.
I have a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Jaen and a certificate in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Instituto Cervantes, London. I love languages and I’ve been teaching Spanish in London for three years. I really enjoy it!
To express yourself in another language gives you freedom and independence. And so it is very satisfying for me to help people progress in their studies.
I am an enthusiastic and energetic teacher and I believe the communicative approach with dynamic and fun lessons are the best ways to learn. See you soon at Vamos!!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
More about this course
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
