"¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!
I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.
My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.
I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part two of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 2 weeks aimed at students who have completed level 1. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Fantastic. Enric is an amazing teacher and I really enjoy coming to his classes every week.
Comprehensive, interesting and fun! Every lesson was different and interesting, and a really good range of activities. Well-structured lessons and homework tasks. Can’t wait for level 3 🙂
Andrea is an excellent teacher; she is always motivating the students. She is extremely organised and the classes are always very dynamic.
Excellent programme, brilliantly delivered.
Overall I really enjoyed learning Spanish with Vamos. Our teacher Yaiza was fantastic. Her enthusiasm and passion for language/teaching was infectious. The lessons where interesting and flexible to the pace of the class. A great preparation for traveling to Central/South America. I look forwards to starting level 2!
I’ll be back. Well done. Love the possibility for replacement classes and conversation classes. Lovely people. Amaya is just superb.
I found the Spanish program as a whole very interesting, informative and worth attending. I look forward to attending more levels in order to continue learning and improving my Spanish.
A great introduction to Spanish. The level 1 program covered more topics than I expected and our teacher, Alejandro was very thorough, helpful and made our classes fun! Will continue level 2!
I really enjoyed the course; my group was the perfect size. Andrea is a great teacher. She made the classes fun and I think easier to learn because of this.
