"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part two of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have completed level 1. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I have really enjoyed the class and Sara’s style of teaching. She is a really great teacher – very patient. Really enjoyed learning at Vamos and attending the monthly conversation classes.
Another productive and interesting 10 weeks of Spanish. Enjoying it very much. Always look forward to my class on Saturday. Thank you again, Amaya, for making it so interesting and thank you, Russell, for having this centre.
I really liked the mixture of forms on learning through speaking, different cultures and written exercises.
The course was interactive and always in Spanish which I thought was very good. Vocabulary covered was wide ranging and contemporary.
Very good course once again. The courses are getting more text book based but Carol still makes it fun. I feel I have learnt a lot since the first lesson.
I like the programme as a whole. There’s enough reading, listening and especially conversation. That way it is easy to learn the new material even during the lesson.
Still good fun and I can see my development/improvement since last year.
The course content was really good and well taught – classes were relaxed. Will book onto Level 2!
I’ve really enjoyed Level 2 – I felt I got to grips more with the language. Lessons with Enrique are always very interactive, which is a great way of learning. I hope to continue with Level 3 after the summer. Gracias Enrique!
