"¡Hola! I’m Alberto from Burgos, in the north of Spain.
I studied at Complutense University of Madrid where I obtained a Degree in English Language and Literature and a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
I follow the communicative approach in my lessons, creating a relaxing and friendly environment in class where everyone feels comfortable and eager to participate and interact with each other.
Teaching my native language is an amazing experience that gives me the chance to meet people from all over the world and share the Spanish language and culture with them.
Looking forward to seeing you in class at ¡Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part two of the Advanced C1 syllabus.
It’s a 20-hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

The program is really good; I really enjoyed Carmen’s teaching style and my classmates are great.
This was my fourth course with Andrea and I love it. The classes are fun and Andrea is very patient; an excellent teacher. Plus, the group is growing together and we get on well.
A great structure and good teacher. I really enjoyed my time at Vamos and always looked forward to the classes.
Andi is a brilliant teacher. She is very warm, patient and great at explaining Spanish and bringing it to life. I probably wouldn’t be doing level 3 if I didn’t have a fab teacher. I love how the classes are very flexible.
Carol is a great teacher. She made us talk a lot with each other, etc. Program is good. Conversation classes are good idea.
Really enjoyed it!
Great variety of different activities to practise different aspects of Spanish. Always enjoyable and a brilliant teacher. I also had a lot of fun at the conversation classes/tapas nights and met some great people.
Looking forward to the next level.
The self-assessment on the website was very useful in helping to determine which level to start at. Andi is a great teacher, keeps the lessons at a pace everyone can follow and ensures that everyone understands the topic before continuing.
Very good balance of grammar and conversation. I really enjoyed the course and want to continue to the next level. More listening exercises could be useful.
Very well organised and the teaching has clear objectives for each class. Really enjoyable.
