"¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!
I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.
My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.
I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part two of the Advanced C1 syllabus.
It’s a 20-hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

It was really fun but also very intense (as it was meant to be). The activities were varied and the follow up emails were really useful to recap and revise material. I had a great week and am excited about the next level.
Good and fun classes. Thoroughly enjoyed the course.
It’s a great learning atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Fun! Ines is a great teacher. My favourite aspects of level 3 were interactions between everyone, variety of instructions methods and Ines taking the time to thoroughly clarify doubts.
Great course, great teacher. I had zero Spanish and after the intensive week I feel like I have an excellent foundation. I’m ready to learn more! I’ll definitely be back!
Alba is an excellent teacher and her classes were fun and proactive. The booster course was a very good idea, definitely helped me improve grammar and listening.
Andi provided a great environment for learning and was very patient…great for all my mistakes! Found the sentence structure lessons clear and easy to follow. Would like more opportunities to speak the language for my own confidence but overall a great class!
Fue muy bien, como siempre.
Great experience! Relaxed environment and Diana has been very helpful
