"іHola! I am Alba and I am from León, a small and beautiful city in the Northwest of Spain.
I have studied two degrees at the University of León (Spanish language and literature & English language and literature) and also a Master’s degree in teaching Spanish to both native and foreign students (QTS – Qualified Teacher Status). I have also worked for several institutions such as the University of Greenwich.
I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is very willing to teach you some Spanish! And of course not only the language but also some of our culture.
I use the communicative approach in my classes and I try to make them as funny as possible! I truly believe learning does not have to be boring and I also try to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that you are able to understand.
I really hope you enjoy learning with us!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part four of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I have enjoyed the past few weeks a lot. Each class has been a unique experience. I loved the energy of my teacher, Amaya, and the way she does the lesson. It is interactive; we were revising each time without even knowing it. I have learned a lot and I would recommend it to everyone who thinks of learning Spanish. I can’t wait for level 3!
I really enjoyed the course. Marta always makes classes fun and explains everything well. Overall, a really enjoyable and educational course.
Andrea is always full of energy and is such a great teacher. Once again I really enjoyed this level and looking forward to the next one! 🙂
I think it is a good programme as a whole and I would recommend it to my friends.
Really enjoyed it – Sandra is an engaging teacher and I loved her energy. Felt the course moved along quickly which was good – it felt like I learnt a lot in a short space of time.
I cannot recommend Vamos enough to people who want to learn Spanish. The teachers, which are the most important thing, are great. They have allowed me to learn in a fun and interactive way.Testament to how good the school is, is demonstrated by the fact that I am still here learning one and a half years later. I have now progressed from beginner to intermediate level 🙂
All I can say is it’s perfect!
Ruth was very creative and I had fun while learning. It was very interactive and very easy to learn as there was enough time spent on each person to get things right. The course is highly recommended.
The program was very well taught – I feel that I’ve learnt a lot in a short space of time. Carol is a very enthusiastic and fun teacher and makes lessons enjoyable as well as informative. An initial course description which breaks down the content of each lesson would be useful, but as I joined late, this might have been given out already.
