"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part four of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
A great teacher who leads an interactive class. It’s a great way of learning.
Clara is always very motivated and creative. She always has very good ideas – how to make us learn more quickly and more enjoyably (games, role plays…) I really enjoy the classes with Clara and I feel my Spanish has improved quite a bit.
Classes are very fun. Ana teaches us useful Spanish phrases and provides a vibrant and enjoyable experience when teaching
Great. Good topics and grammar covered. Very useful. I enjoyed the use of music videos especially! A nice class!
I really enjoyed and benefited from Carolina’s calm and consistent teaching style, good structure to classes and the opportunity to speak. The level of care and attention to detail dedicated to online communication and resources is fantastic.
I thought it was really engaging and used a variety of teaching methods to appeal to all different learning abilities e.g. games, talking activities, listening and reading. Sandra’s a really fun, energetic teacher and I’ve really enjoyed learning with her. I would highly recommend the school. Great and fast communication as well.
I think the course helped to improve my language skills a lot. This time we focused a lot on ‘subjuntivo’ which helped. I like having role plays or conversations to learn the language and would always appreciate having more conversational exercises.
Vamos has started doing courses online over “zoom”, which is a really easy-to-use video calling platform similar to Skype. Our Level 1 class is small and led by an excellent teacher (Amaya Alonso), who makes the sessions fun and engaging, and builds them to our level. It feels like we get a lot of individual attention. Having only started from scratch a few weeks ago, I already feel like I’m building a good grounding in Spanish. Taking the courses online has made them very accessible, especially during the lockdown period this spring. While the UK is on lockdown, I’m really happy that I’m able to engage in weekly classes and keep up Spanish learning from home.
I’d highly recommend the school.
I enjoyed it. I haven´t spoken any Spanish at all for long time and the level was just right. Auri is great.
