"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part four of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Ruth is a wonderful teacher. I very much enjoyed my level 3 with her and going to continue in the future.
The course was really well as always.
The program was very good and helped me improve my Spanish. It was a lot of fun.
A thoughtful, enjoyable ten weeks course that covered concepts in a fun manner. The teaching was excellent.
I’ve just completed my second course with Stripey Spanish and enjoyed every minute. Carla and her team deliver a great program, combining classroom learning with lots of fun external activities. At the outset I spoke zero Spanish but would now feel quite comfortable arriving in a Spanish City, booking accommodation, finding friends and socialising over a meal and a few drinks!! Really enjoyable and I can thoroughly recommend Stripey to anyone wanting to learn social Spanish.
Was excellent. Noelia is the best teacher ever!!!
– Very interactive with a lot of engagement in conversation in class.
– The teacher is very cheerful and encouraging
– A lot of Spanish spoken in class.
The classes are very well organized and constructed. The teachers are excellent. I felt as though I made progress over the course of the classes and I look forward to the next set of classes.
Overall very positive. I love Andrea’s dynamism. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and also positive were the small size groups. I like the flexibility and that we can go to another class if we miss one.
