"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I feel I have learnt a lot in this first course. Andi is a great teacher, very engaging and fun. We learnt a lot trough conversation and fun exercises. Looking forward to Level 2 with Andi.
A very good introduction to Spanish. There was a good balance between formal learning of the “correct” way to speak and everyday language. I would recommend this course to someone who doesn’t speak any Spanish and is keen to start.
Detailed, fun and intensive. Really happy with the teaching. Not quite fluent in Spanish but know that I will get there with Vamos. Excellent teaching, very high standard and a great value for money. Thank you.
Great teacher and organization of school. Materials and support are great. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn Spanish.
Getting more difficult in level 3. Need to keep reviewing what we learnt moving forward. Amaya is excellent!
Fun, good teaching and flexible!
Overall, I’m very impressed with quality of the teaching. Lessons were varied and fun. I appreciated learning the grammar as well.
I’ll be back. Well done. Love the possibility for replacement classes and conversation classes. Lovely people. Amaya is just superb.
The program was very informative. Helped me learn a language from scratch. Alejandro was very patient with us and I found he knew what he was doing. Also, we enjoyed ourselves in class.
