"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
A lot of fun – loved that Andrea let us have a laugh and joined in. I thought there was a good range of exercises that kept things interesting with a good mix of speaking, writing etc. Have had such a good time and am very excited for level 2!
Excellent. Will definitely recommend it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the program as a whole. The learning of vocabulary + grammar has been challenging and appropriate. Everyone at Vamos has been friendly, welcoming and there is a great social life. I look forward to studying Level 5, Andrea has been an inspiration, always helpful and approachable!!! 🙂
As always, yet another great course with Sara! The course has been so fun and I’ve learnt a lot. The classes are always something to look forward to. It is obvious that Sara puts a lot of effort into making the classes useful and fun – thank you! 🙂
The classes were excellent, motivating and interactive. Carol is very attentive and always managed to get me in the mood. This is a perfect place to learn Spanish.
I really enjoyed each class. A great teacher made every lesson fun!
The program and teachers were great I just wish that in my hectic life I had the time to really soak in completely everything I was taught in the previous lesson. However, Andrea is an excellent teacher which made everything easier to lean, adaptable in every way.
I found the course very fun and once the ice had been broken I feel the group gelled well. Yaiza is a great teacher who accommodates all the questions we make.
Really enjoyed the programme. Lovely, patient teaching method. Would highly recommend.
