"¡Hola! My name is also Alba and I come from Valencia!
I hold a degree in Spanish Studies (Universitat de València) and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language at Universitat de Barcelona. I have been teaching Spanish in an immersion context in Valencia for one and half years and I previously taught Spanish in Tallinn (Estonia) as a part of an internship.
I am an enthusiastic and inspiring language teacher who loves sharing her passion about the Spanish language and our culture. Teaching languages is a beautiful job because it works towards building bridges between people and cultures.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my students getting to know each other through Spanish and gaining the confidence to communicate in the language and learn about Spanish and Latin American culture.

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Very good. Marina was very friendly and outgoing and met the needs of the group. Would highly recommend!!
Very enjoyable. The learning methods, including the workbooks, are very good with a mix of activities. I am looking forward to the next level.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was challenging enough to make me feel tested, yet I was never afraid to ask questions when unsure.
Continues to be loads of fun and very practical. The most enjoyable way to learn a language.
Really good teacher, liked the use of grammar: challenging but attainable. I would recommend the school for someone else. Course structure is well planned. No Objections.
Enjoyable as ever! Paula is a great teacher and I always enjoy my lessons with her!
I took a one week intensive Spanish course five years ago, but the Vamos course is so much better! I seem to have learned and retained much more and really enjoyed it at the same time. Thank you very much 🙂
I like the pace of the programme. It has a good balance of activities and you never get bored. I also enjoy the combination of grammar and vocabulary exercises with games. Very enjoyable course.
Excellent as always although I still struggle to find time to study enough outside of class. The fact that there is a lot of conversation in class and very helpful suggestions about activities outside of class is very helpful though.
