"¡Hola a todos!
I'm Irene and I'm from Cantabria, a beautiful autonomous community in northern Spain.
After obtaining my degree in Classical Philology at University of Oviedo, I decided to focus my career by teaching Spanish. I studied a Master degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at University of Salamanca and since that, I have being teaching Spanish in different places of Spain for three years and in London for one and a half year now.
Teaching is one of my passion, it is something innate on me, so teaching Spanish and sharing my knowledge about my mother tongue and its culture is not a job for me, but a pleasure.
My main goal is teaching by a dynamic and communicative way and connecting to my students by creating a good atmosphere in order to makes easier and useful the learning process. So I hope you enjoy your lessons as I do!
¡Nos vemos en Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Great opportunity to learn and practice Spanish, to learn about Spain and above all to enjoy the company of other students learning Spanish. Well worthwhile and brilliantly put together. Language, culture and fun all in one package.
This was a really worthwhile trip and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to brush up on their Spanish or consolidate their knowledge.
The activities were very fun and interactive. A great way to speak Spanish and learn vocabulary. Overall a great week with a great bunch of people. The restaurant options were good.
