Your Teacher

"¡Hola! I am Patricia from Alicante - Spain’s south-east, sunny Costa Blanca!

I have a degree in Teaching from University of Alicante, a Certificate in teaching Spanish to adults from Instituto Cervantes in London and the Qualified Teacher Status in the UK. I am also studying my MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Since joining Vamos as a teacher in 2016 I am now also part of the office team where as Academic Administrator I provide practical help to many of our new and existing students.

Teaching has been the most rewarding experience in my life and I have realised that sharing my culture and language with others is what I love the most.

See you soon at Vamos!"

About Us

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.

More about this course

This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.

We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
