Every page in our GCSE term books is also an interactive homework, which teachers assign in a managed workflow on our portal.
Vamos GCSE courses are structured around a framework of books specially created by our Academic Department.
They align to AQA and Edexcel exam boards and follow the 5 curriculum themes term by term.
Feedback for parents
We understand parents want to see how their child is progressing, so each week we send an email with feedback based on effort from the previous day’s classwork and the previous week’s homework.

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
I can refer to my identity and culture. I can discuss different types of entertainment. I can talk about TV, sports and films. I can talk about places in town and ask for and understand directions. I can talk about illnesses and injuries and I can ask for help at the pharmacy. I can order in a restaurant and describe typical foods. When I talk about my free time activities I use stem-changing verbs. I use ‘soler’ + infinitive when I talk about what I usually do. I can use the perfect tense when describing the past. I can conjugate and use verbs in the perfect tense.
The course has been fantastic! I have been learning Spanish with Vamos since last year and I am amazed at how much I have learnt. This is mainly due to the excellent quality of the teaching. Sonia is an inspiring and highly skilled teacher who makes the lessons fun and engaging. She also provides a very structured framework of grammar and language skills which we build on each session. She shares her knowledge of Spanish culture and makes lessons really enjoyable and great fun. I am really inspired to keep learning.
It feels like a safe space to learn and ask questions. The activity book is very helpful and Sonia is friendly and knowledgeable.
