"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
Over a 10-week period we will become familiar with some of the most famous Spanish writers through their works including theatre, novels, poetry and journalistic texts.
As well as developing your Spanish skills, you will learn to appreciate these works in their native language by understanding their whole meaning and the time and circumstances of the author, starting with the most famous chapter of El Quijote’s La aventura de los molinos de viento.
Thought the course was fantastic, had good fun and most importantly learnt a lot. Was pushed hard but was worth it and Sandra was a fantastic teacher. Would highly recommend this course.
Andrea is a great teacher, really engaging and clear. Level 2 covered a good range of topics. Muchas gracias, hasta la proxima nivel.
Patricia es genial!
I have recently commenced the Level 1 course and Clara is an excellent teacher!
Cristina was an excellent and creative teacher. She made every lesson so fun and enjoyable.
I thought there was quite a high focus on grammar (though this was necessary!) Free conversation class, drinks, technology + internet blog very good ideas – Thanks!
Great teacher, great class, friendly people, on the whole very good, but more could have been done in the 5 weeks. I would have liked to have gone a bit further. I would recommend the course to others.
The resources we were given were great and really helpful. We got lots of homework which really helped me to make sure I revised every week. And of course, our teacher Andi was amazing. She really made it easy to understand and explained the reasoning behind everything.
Very pleased, I feel I have made further progress in my Spanish studies
