"¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!
I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.
My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.
I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!"

This is a 10-hour course over 5 weeks. It’s fun and informal, specially aligned to the A2 syllabus and a great way to help you practise.
Classes start with a short grammar and vocabulary revision exercise, followed by a variety of games, roleplays, music and videos all designed to get you talking.
Please note there are no catch up classes available for this course
Fun, varied, thorough, good speed! Thanks
I really enjoy the classes because they are very interactive and interesting supporting the student beyond the guide of the book.
Carolina is an excellent teacher and I have really enjoyed this course. It has been challenging but a lot of fun!
Thoroughly enjoying. Plenty of time was dedicated to speaking in Spanish about your life (what you did on the weekend, what countries you have travelled to etc). This allowed you to learn words and phrases that were relevant to what you would discuss in real life.
I loved Amaya’s energy and enthusiasm and being able to access material dealt with in the previous classes. Amaya is a talented teacher, I have learnt so much in this course despite the fact that I had been attending classes for about a year elsewhere. I have already booked onto the next level. No complaints at all.
I enjoyed the classes a lot! They were as good and interesting as the ones in Level 1! Noelia is a great teacher; I’ll go with her to Level 3! Muchas gracias!
Good course with a high standard of teaching and a friendly atmosphere.
Andi is a brilliant teacher. She is very warm, patient and great at explaining Spanish and bringing it to life. I probably wouldn’t be doing level 3 if I didn’t have a fab teacher. I love how the classes are very flexible.
I found the course very enjoyable and ended up learning more than I thought I would! Looking forward to Level 6.
