"Hola! Qué tal? I am Paula from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree from the University of Barcelona for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked in language institutes and French International Schools in Dubai and Hong Kong and I like my lessons to be interesting, fun and practical!
Learning a new language has to adapt to your needs to communicate, so to me the most important is to get you speaking Spanish from day one. That’s why creating the right atmosphere in class is key for everyone to feel relaxed and willing to participate.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help you learn, not only the language but also some of the culture that comes along.
See you soon at Vamos!!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

The classes are so much fun Andrea is a wonderful teacher and I like her teaching style. I come to every class with enthusiasm and leave with more knowledge.
Very entertaining. Definitely an enjoyable way to learn Spanish as long as you do the homework!
Excellent. I’m amazed at how much I have learned, understood and can speak after this week long intensive. The size of the class was just right which enabled quality 1:1 interaction. Maria was very energetic, attentive and personable.
Very good style of teaching – the continuous interaction and repetition helps you learn quicker. Really enjoyed the course.
I keep coming back for more so you must be doing something right. Thanks Andi for another fun 10 weeks.
It was a great course. I’ll definitely take another course for level 2. I love Cristina’s methods and teaching. Such a good experience to be with a great group and a great teacher for five days!
I really enjoyed the programme. The style of teaching is very interesting. The classes are interactive and fun. The teacher is very helpful and sweet. The extra conversation classes are of great help. I will definitely recommend this programme if you want to learn Spanish.
The program is good and the teaching style is great. The problem is the book if I fall behind I can´t do self-study. Great support if I do miss a lesson. Thanks for all the effort and support.
Having initially signed up for a level 2 course based on the result of the online test, the tutors recognised that my level of Spanish was more advanced and Russell was very accommodating in allowing me to try different classes at different levels to find an appropriate level for me. Clara was an excellent tutor – very patient and keen to ensure that all students engaged in her classes. Classes were enjoyable and progresses at an appropriate pace so more capable students continued to be challenged without leaving others behind.
