"Hola, chicos! ¿Cómo estáis? I am Ana from Los Molinos, a town near Madrid!
I have a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in teaching and I obtained them both at the Complutense University in Madrid.
I am also an official DELE examiner for B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels, but it is important for you to know that teaching Spanish is not only my work but my passion as well."

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Progressing well. Pace is good and not too fast (which it can be at other schools).
Enjoy coming here 🙂
Good structure and delivery. Classes are fun and the balance of speaking and learning is good.
Fast paced learning in an enjoyable environment. Using thorough explanations in an interesting method, Amaya makes learning Spanish fun and rewarding. Throughout the past 8 months Amaya has consistently performed at an incredibly high level, ensuring that everyone is engaged in the classes by making sure that they are challenging, yet enjoyable.
The course combined a good use of grammar, training, discussion and new vocab. I think we could have had more listening tasks and more interactive materials -> news clips for example. Roberto was a great teacher; easy to understand, patient and engaging. I was very happy with the course.
I really lined the activity book we got at the end of level 6 and throughout level 7. I was sorry to miss the conversation classes but will be sure to join them in the next course as they are very useful and good fun. Amaya was brilliant as always and really kept me motivated. Her revision game was very helpful.
Fantastico! The teaching at Vamos is superb. Ruth is a very competent teacher and makes lessons fun and enjoyable (which I didn’t think was possible after a long day at work). The course is well paced and covers a range of topics. I particularly like the free conversation classes at the end of the month.
Very nice course with a clear structure. Maria is super nice and patient and I look forward to starting A3 with her.
Thought it was well structured. Will return for next level. Liked Carolina’s enthusiasm. 10 week modules are perfect.
Was fun and amazing time and we learned a lot in a short time. Can’t wait to start the next level!
