"¡Hola! My name is Romina and I'm from La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province in Argentina.
I am a qualified teacher with a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University. I also have a degree in Psychology and have worked in the field of education for many years.
I think the best way to learn a language is through communicating and interacting from the start. I love making my lessons enjoyable and creative, using different activities and resources, while sharing aspects of my culture in the process. I find seeing the progress of my students very rewarding as they become more confident using the language in practical situations.
I am looking forward to meeting you at Vamos!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Great course! Love the teaching style (mixture of activities, games, reading, writing and speaking) and the passion of the teacher!
Very good. I felt I have gained a lot. I wish to continue to the next level. I cannot start a new course before Christmas as I am away on holiday in November and have business appointments in the next weeks.
The 5 week course is clearly going to be a lot more intense than the 10 week course, however the teaching methods used are interesting and keep you engaged throughout the class. After realising how much vocab there is to learn after each class I look forward to the 10 week course which I-m sure will be equally as interesting but should allow me to take on more words and sentence structure.
Very well structured and well planned. Dynamic teacher, varied activities and challenging! (GOOD)
It’s been a very good course. Diana’s teaching has been excellent and I’ve enjoyed the classes. I would highly recommend the course. Muchas gracias!
The program met my expectations. I am satisfied with the service.
I think the program is a very good start to learn Spanish in a fun way, with no pressure but result.
Andrea is a brilliant teacher. She makes her classes fun and her patience is amazing.
Overall, I though the class was informative and I learned a lot over a short period of time. I thought my instructor did a good job in finding ways for us to remember certain grammar rules such as Imperative and Subjunctive. Additionally, I liked the bonus classes. They allowed to practice Spanish and meet other people.
