"Hola! Qué tal? I am Paula from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree from the University of Barcelona for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked in language institutes and French International Schools in Dubai and Hong Kong and I like my lessons to be interesting, fun and practical!
Learning a new language has to adapt to your needs to communicate, so to me the most important is to get you speaking Spanish from day one. That’s why creating the right atmosphere in class is key for everyone to feel relaxed and willing to participate.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help you learn, not only the language but also some of the culture that comes along.
See you soon at Vamos!!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Our teacher is the best, which is the most important thing for a class.
Overall positive, great atmosphere in class. Appreciate the opportunity to catch up later if you miss the class as I’ve been doing a lot. I still find the pace a bit slow, but it did improve a lot compare to level 1.
Tatiana created a warm environment and made learning Spanish accessible when I have previously found languages to be really hard. The activities and workbook aided the in-class work and I found the homework to be really helpful. Personally, I wish I could have been available for the conversation classes, as I think this would have been helpful.
Excellent. Right combination of immersion and explanation, conversation and basic grammar. Enric was a really good teacher – he explained things very clearly and his classes were great fun.
Great enthusiasm which never makes attending the class a tiring thought. Something I look forward to doing after work.
As a beginner course this met every expectation I had. Auri was a great teacher and had a huge amount of patience and explained everything very clearly. I liked the volume of role-playing we did in each class, it helped recognise the context in which phrases and words were used. Homework and literature were all good especially inclusion of audio.
Paula is a vibrant and gifted teacher who taught us a lot about Spanish culture and art with great enthusiasm. The group gelled very well and I enjoyed the classes very much. It was all made even better by taking place in such a lovely town.
Very good, fun class. Andi is a great teacher.
Amaya is a great teacher – keeping the classes exciting and engaging every week is a good achievement.
