"іHola! I am Carla from Madrid.
I have a Degree in Spanish awarded by the Complutense University of Madrid, Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and a QTS in the UK. I am also qualified as a DELE B1/B2 examiner at the “Instituto Cervantes”.
For me, learning a language means much more than just being able to speak the language. It means travelling, working and meeting amazing people. Essentially it means broadening our knowledge and discovering the world. I am eager to share with you my love for learning a foreign language.
I have been teaching Spanish for the past three years in Spain, USA and now in England. Teaching is an amazing and rewarding experience and Vamos is a perfect place to do so!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

The teaching was very good. It was nice to learn Spanish in a class as it provided a different way of learning compared with a book or online. Andrea was a very good teacher; she was very helpful and made the class fun to attend.
I have enjoyed the programme, it progresses at a good pace and Diana is a fun, knowledgeable teacher who comes up with good activities/games to teach the content.
Level 2 was even better than level 1. Lots of things going on, great activities. Videos really helped with listening and understanding a lot more things
Teacher was very good. Good mix of activities. Very good I would recommend / come back again and I am slightly sad I can’t continue with level 2 as going away. I am starting to feel things clicking together.
Exactly what I wanted and how I wanted to learn Spanish
Excellent. The right balance of fun and learning. I will definitely sign up for level two.
Andrea is always motivating the students and the classes are very dynamic
Great energy levels in class. Our teacher made grammar fun. Very inclusive teaching. Great variety of activities. I looked forward to class every week. The best language course I’ve ever taken!
I’ve really enjoyed learning in this way. I like the games aspect of the lessons as it helps me learn quicker and build confidence.
